Chris Rankin

Chris is a retired accountant having spent time working in manufacturing and in the non-profit areas. Prior to his career in accounting/finance, he spent 10 years as commercial photographer providing images for national and regional advertising. Chris is an avid outdoorsman and has a background in forestry. He spends as much time in the field as he can and for the last several years he has concentrated on nature and wildlife photography.

 

What’s in the bag?

Chris’s list of equipment includes a Canon R3 Mirrorless Camera body. His favorite lenses for nature photography are the Canon RF 400mm f/2.8, the Canon RF 70-200 f/2.8 L, the Canon RF 15-35 f/2.8 L and the Canon RF 100 f/2.8L macro lens. He also carries 1.4x tele-converters. For additional light he utilizes the Canon 600EX-RT, the 430EX-RT and the Canon MR-14EX II ring flash.
