With more than 30 years of experience and a long history of using film cameras, Ruth makes every effort to perfect her settings before making an exposure, but sometimes “life happens” and adjustments need to be made after capturing an image.

Taking bird photos from the prone position at ground level will enhance your photos by giving them a much more intimate perspective with a very dramatic depth of field. This low position also enables you to get closer to the birds. What to Expect: Tim will share his techniques for getting down and dirty with shorebirds.
