Feathers, Flight, & Song!
🎨 Art and Writing Gallery 📝
Welcome to the 2023 FeatherFest art and writing contest collection of winning entries, “Feathers, Flight, & Song” held November 2022- February 2023. Children in grades K-8 were asked to reflect on the birds they see every day and think about their feathers, flight, and songs. How are they unique or interesting? Choose a bird(s) that they want to remember and create artwork or writing about the bird(s) based on the theme.
Many thanks to all of the young writers and artists who shared their talents in this competition. We had so many wonderful entries this year that we cannot put them all in the online gallery. We have chosen to display the winning art and writing pieces along with the Peoples’ Choice denoted with an asterisk.
