Galveston’s oldest cemetery is located on Broadway between 40th and 43rd Streets. Above ground vaults, obelisks, stone angles and more offer plenty of photo opportunities. During the spring, wildflowers can decorate the ground giving a different look to the graves. Join Kathy Adams Clark for this journey through Galveston history.
Paved streets offer a convenient place to park your car and paved walkways allow access to each section of the cemetery.
Camera, wide angle or medium wide angle lens, tripod, and maybe a flash or reflector.
Driving directions and meeting site will be emailed prior to the festival.
