Creating a Pollinator Paradise at Home Workshop & Trip #2

April 23 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Calling all neighbors! Pollinators, birds, and other wildlife face many challenges to their survival, and they need our help. The good news is that we can take simple steps to help them―right here, right now, right in our own gardens. In this indoor workshop and outdoor field trip, Lauren Simpson introduces our pollinators and—using a local garden as a classroom—shares simple techniques for transforming our own garden into a beautiful, native-plant paradise―one that supports wildlife and pleases neighbors! The workshop will be held at FeatherFest headquarters or near the local Galveston garden we’ll be using for the field trip portion. We’ll have a break for lunch in between the indoor and outdoor portions of this activity.

Driving directions will be emailed prior to the festival.

Bring: water, sunscreen, bug spray
