EVENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Pre-registration refers to the process of registering prior to arrival at the festival. Pre-registration may be accomplished by Mail or Fax or Online. Full payment must be made at the time of pre-registration. Payment may be made by Check/Money Order (Mail) or Visa/MasterCard (Mail, Fax, or Online). A separate registration form must be submitted for each participant. Children under 10 yrs old cannot be registered for any trip or for any seminar UNLESS the activity is especially designated as "For Families". As birders understand, some trips can be long, tiring and test the stamina for young children. Many trips require birders to proceed with stealth and quietly and to be able to listen to quiet whisperings of the leader, a sudden noise from a baby or a youngster can be very disruptive. A "registration" fee is required to attend any birding event or evening social. There is an additional "event" fee for each event except those indicated as Paid For. Registration packets, which include your name badge, MUST be picked up at the Old Galveston Square building registration site before your first field trip. You will be required to sign a standard liability waiver at that time, before going on any field trip.If you go on a kayak trip you will also need to fill out a liability and medical information form for the Artist Boat. It will save you time at Registration if you Click here for a copy of both of the waivers, and fill it out ahead of time and bring it with you. To Register by Mail or Fax, download the registration form; Click here. Print the form, and check the box corresponding to each event you plan to attend. Submit it along with credit card information or check/MO. If paying with Check or Money Order, make them payable to FeatherFest and mail full payment and form to: Feather Fest If paying with credit card, you may Fax the form, including your credit card information, to (409) 737-2264. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: May be by telephone (409 392 0841), fax, email or in writing (see contact info above). If you cancel your registration on or before March 26 you will receive a full refund. Cancellations received on March 27 through April 1 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellation after April 1. Organizers reserve the right to cancel an event, or to substitute qualified presenters or trip leaders when necessary. Every effort to place you in an alternate event will be made according to your preferences. If an event is cancelled for any reason, and an alternate event to your liking is not available, a full refund will be given upon request prior to the end of the festival, at the Registration desk.
