Alice Anne O’Donell


Alice Anne is a longtime Galveston resident and retired UTMB physician. She is past chairman of Galveston County Audubon Group and serves on the boards of Houston Audubon and Galveston Island Tree Conservancy as well as the East End Lagoon Nature Park & Preserve Advisory Committee. She was on the planning committee for the first FeatherFest as well as being one of the original trip leaders and speakers. Her passions are UTC shorebirds and coastal habitat management.

More birding for kiddos and their grown-ups! On this field trip, participants will learn how to identify more species and learn the basics of doing a bird survey such as Audubon’s Christmas Bird Count or one of the several monthly bird counts in the Galveston/Houston Area.
