In a big year, birders try to identify by sight or sound as many bird species as possible in a given year. The Big Year starring Owen Wilson, Steve Martin and Jack Black depicts three birders eager to win a Big Year in the United States. It is adapted from Mark Obmascik's best-selling book of the same name and describes real life predicaments of the three birders as they compete for the most number of identified species. One of those three birders is Greg Miller who was portrayed by Jack Black. Greg will be sharing some personal comments and insight during the screening and will be on hand to answer questions afterwards.
This one-of-a-kind wildlife celebration will be an exciting evening filled with flying Birds of Prey, endless photo ops, an exceptional four-course Mediterranean-style dinner and wine from the Olympia Grill at Pier 21, a Raptors Raffle filled with great surprises, a Safari Photo Booth and so much more!
